Regulatory framework
IMHC is a platform that matches clients with independently-licensed mental health professionals. IMHC itself does not provide psychological, psychotherapeutic, or medical services. All clinical care is delivered by the licensed professional a client is matched with, under their own professional responsibility and their own regulatory oversight.
Mental health professionals practising through IMHC are each regulated by the authority that issued their licence — for Austrian-licensed professionals, this is most commonly:
- Psychotherapeut:innen — Bundesministerium für Soziales, Gesundheit, Pflege und Konsumentenschutz (BMSGPK)
- Klinische Psycholog:innen & Gesundheitspsycholog:innen — BMSGPK, Gesundheitspsychologie-Register
- Fachärzt:innen für Psychiatrie — Österreichische Ärztekammer

This website and the contractual relationships arising from it are governed by the laws of the Republic of Austria, to the extent permitted by applicable consumer protection law. Exclusive place of jurisdiction for disputes, where permitted by law, is Vienna, Austria.
